Swamp Suit

Inspired by Doechii business outfits and album cover Alligator Bites Never Heal. The body was made with 2 different tones of green 100% Fuzzy Cotton Denim that gives off a Corduroy feel and the lining was done with a cream 100% Habotai Silk. Added trims were brown Velvet ribbon and a leather pull tab for the brown zipper on the jacket, the skirt has an invisible zipper. The different types of green were used to represent shadows made by light hitting the suit. So the sides, underarms, pleats, under-collar and waistband all have the darker green showing the shadows, while the more prominent parts like the main skirt, the front or top of the garment would be hit with more light making it a lighter green.
